Katy Papineau
Katy Papineau is an artist living and working in London, UK. She studied Philosophy at university and in 2018 she started a year-long Specialist Degree at the Royal Drawing School. Her practise includes both painting and drawing. In her work she focuses on scenes from various interiors and their imposing intimacy. She paints from imagination using themes from stories, theatre and literature. Her vivid and colorful figurative images are composed from mixes of raw pigment, paint, crayon and pencil.
