Maximilian Siegenbruk

Maximilian Siegenbruk is a German artist living and working in Berlin. Max studied at the Dusseldorf Art Academy and continued to study under Austrian artist Professor Siegfried Anzinger. His works have been exhibited across Germany.

Max has worked with various painterly styles such as figurative and portraiture painting as well as works on paper. While these works focus heavily on the naturalistic depictions of the human body, with emphasis on volume and games of light and shade, they also combine elements from popular culture and the constructed society that we live in in our contemporary world. His most recent body of works though, have shifted focus to abstract representations of structures and nature with an emphasis on lines and contour.
